Conversion Camper Shell
Folks:
Mr truck is a 1997 F - 150 standard cab with full size bed and a bare camper shell. The truck has only 60,000 miles and is like new.
The question is in regard to the camper shell. I want to use the truck as a camping vehicle. One person.
It would be relatively simple to clean out the camper, throw in a sleeping bag and be done with it.
But I would like to put in some sort of storage system, sleeping pad
and fishing equipment storage. Possibly a small a/c unit as usually 120 volts is available in campgrounds. Cooking facilities would be nice but not necessary.
Any suggestions ? I have seen some very expensive camping systems
on trucks heavier than this but I have no intentions of living in it, just want to camp in it.
Thanks,
Ken H.

Cabelas is a most holy temple, the ultimate mancave if you should ever make the pilgrimage to the home temple be sure to genuflect at the door way before you go in.....
All joking aside these attached tents are really great. My favorite type is the one that attaches to back of the truck, or SUV so the interior of camper top or the back of the Expedition becomes a step up room, with tent portion extending from the back which then becomes part of the living space. I place the bed in the truck and the chairs and table out in the extension. What is nice about these truck tents is they don't cost an arm and leg, plus when not in use they store real easy.
See the picture below this is what I am talking about. More info can be seen here...
