Default Continental CrossContact LX20 with EcoPlus Technology

I have been researching these new Continental CrossContact LX20 with EcoPlus Technology and was wanting some input from anyone who has used these tires. I do mostly interstate driving but I do tow, usually during the summer to tote my 6,500 lbs Mumba to the lake and back. I don't go off road as often as I have in the past, but when I do, it isn't deep mud..more like a ranch.

Last year I had replaced my factory Goodyear SR/A tires (P275/65R18) after 6k miles for some Goodyear Duratrac tires (LT275/70R18). I really like the looks of this tire and they are wearing pretty good, but lately I have been doing way more highway driving and they are very squirmy and don't like going in a straight line. Not to mention the fact they are larger than stock and have way more drag than the stock tires causing my MPG to drop. (I knew that before buying them)

I can't speak to this specific tire but I have never had the warm and fuzzies with Continental Tires. They came stock on two previous vehicles and the ride seemed to be rough, and the handling was so so.

They wore well so it was hard for me to justify replacing them.
