Default Consumer Reports - 5.0 vs Ecoboost?

Be seen several debates here about the dependability of the ecoboost engine.

My question is whether consumer reports have any data on the issue. If I remember correctly they publish frequency of repair statistics.

Consumer reports is bought and paid for..I doubt ford would pay them to say one is better than the other.
I've seen reviews on other items where they say one thing is the best...later they say it sucks..sorry if there are any cr lovers here but I for one can't stand em

Both of these engines are only out for ~4 years so far so it's not long enough to determine which will be better long term.
I know the EcoBoost had issues with the 1st and 2nd years and the intercooler, but I heard it was rectified.

I can assure you all engines regardless of NA or FI or Manufacturer have problems.
The 5.0L was never torture tested like the EcoBoost was......that much I have come to the conclusion.

Please post the links for us to see what you're talking about.
I'll gladly read them and give an unbiased opinion, because technically I'm not even a CR subscriber
......and I never have been.

I don't trust any IQS either (Initial Quality Survey) because from either CR or JD Powers they
are COMPLETELY worthless surveys to help sell what APPEARS to be a good vehicle off the line
for the 1st 90 days of ownership. After that, IQS doesn't monitor beyond 90 days......so it's worthless.

The only one's I pay attention to are the Vehicle Dependability Surveys from JD Powers.
But the simple fact is Consumer Reports is not "Bought and paid for" they are extremely strict and go to court to keep it that way.

I wasn't offended. Just seeking a basis for statement in fact.

No worries or need for apologies, carry on.
