constantly warping front rotors
I have a 2002 and it's warped the front rotors 3 times in 4 years. I've replaced them each time. The calipers aren't dragging. After driving in town for about and hour I checked them with an IR thermometer and both sides read 165 f. That not to bad of a temp. Anybody else have this issue.

Get some power stop brand rotors. Everyone that has them have only good things to say about them.

Stop braking so hard, you may not think you are but your truck is heavy and so is your foot.
Once you can admit to that, you will stop warping rotors. Aside from dragging calipers, that is the only other potential cause. As a former mechanic I cannot tell you how many times I went for a ride along with customers to confirm too hard braking when they continuously warp rotors. They protest like crazy when I would tell them what the problem is. The ones that take my advice and back off on the brakes never had the issue again, those that just continued to protest would just keep warping rotors.
Yes changing to high end rotors might reduce the symptom but it does not cure the problem which is heavy braking.
FWIW it used to be me to, once someone pointed it out to me the problem went away. I also had brake pads and shoes last much longer too.

I would also add that you take a look at the hubs before mounting the rotors. I had a problem with rotors warping on a car and one or both of the actions resolved th problem:
1. Went back to OEM rotors..... more expensive, but I got sick of messing with the brakes.
2. Wire wheeled all of the crud off the hubs before putting on the new rotors.
YMMV

Been wrenching for over 30+ years and the rotors they put on our trucks are nothing less than garbage. No caliper binding. Rotors supplied by the lowest bidder plain and simple and it's nothing new. We had multiple customers come back to our shop repeatedly all thru out the early 90's-2000's with the same problem. I can't count the amount of times I personally resurfaced rotors (on the vehicle) with a specialized machine to alleviate the shake that still does to this day. (google on car lathe) I wore out 10 sets of carbide bits in less than 3 years at the dealer I worked at and then had to replace the rotors due to minimum thickness safety parameters.
