Compliments on your truck

I get that a lot at stop lights and stuff as well from the people behind me when I launch lol. Always puts a smile on my face. I don't punch it or anything, just a normal acceleration is loud as is.

I catch more hate than anything. Tons of GM fanboys and ford haters in my area and they can't stand seeing a fixed up well maintained one-of-a-kind rcsb f150 in the huge sea of dime-a-dozen modded silverados. Chevy guys hate my truck, RAM guys hate it, anyone with a lifted crew 4x4 hates it, Ford ecoboost guys HATE my truck. My 5.0 emblem was defaced the other day by some punk, I've come out to my truck to find an empty beer bottle wedged under one of the tires. I've come out to find dirty footprints and scratches on it that weren't mine. I've never been complimented except by my buddy who drives a Lightning (go figure). What does all this hatred and jealousy do? It makes me grin from ear to ear. It also motivates me to hit the heavy bag more often.

You're not worried about the state of mind of lowlives who have no respect for other peoples property? I didn't do anything to provoke those actions (except for driving a modded f150, which is the most hated vehicle on the road here other than Mustangs).
My truck would get tons of compliments if I lived in the midwest/east coast. But in crime-ridden sh**hole Chevy country AKA central California, I get beer bottles under my tires. There's a type of douchebag here that doesn't exist anywhere else.

Up here where I live most of the time, the only compliments I get are rare. Unless I'm at the Ford dealer. Not very many nice trucks up here, mostly rusted out hulks of chivvys and dodges. Most of them you can't stand to follow down the road, they smell so bad.
Now down around Duhtroit, where my wife lives in the 'burbs, I get quite a few, when it's clean. Not just from Ford guys either. I especially like being there during the cruise weekends, Woodward and Wayne both. Someone always says and/or asks something. I take that as real compliment, there's tons of nice cars and trucks down there.
