Someone told me (I hate to say a Ford salesman) that the F150 Ecoboost front bumper is different than the V8's. I want to take off the left front 'bread loaf' and replace it with an Ecoboost one that has the license plate frame holder. I like the small grill you can get to put in the middle, where the Ecoboost air opening is.
Mine is the 5.0 L, so airflow isn't a concern to me.

Is it a simple unbolt/bolt swap?

Check with the parts department, I don't think anything is different other than the tag holder.

they fit ive done it so i can put my r/c hidden winch plate in!! as i have the 5.0

Thanks for the tip. Does the unit snap into holes in the bumper (i.e., do you have to break the old one taking it out, and push in a new one)?

i was able to save it i broke one tab. u can go from the back and sneak a screw driver to push the tabs and comes out easy. other one snaps in perfectly

There is no difference. I have the 5.0 and changed out the plate to the front left so the plate will be offset.

How did you get the bread loaf off? I can only get the upper and lower left tabs free'd up. I really don't want to break it removing it. Thanks

Not functional for me- just looks. I just like those funky little grille inserts you can put in the middle. Any little change makes it stand out from all the other 'just off the lot' guys, right?
