Default Interior detail, what do you do/use?

dont know if this has been posted before, couldnt find it on search.

Got a 2006 xlt supercrew with gray cloth interior.

want to give it a full detail on the interior. the front seats could use it, and the center console. just got daily buildup that needs to go. aside from your typical vacuum, wiping with wet cloth, and all that, what do you use/recommend for cleaning the cloth?

brands? methods? tricks? any help would be greatly appreciated.

btw, this is my first post, glad to finally join in on this site. love my two f150's( '95, '06.) i love fords overall, got my mustang for that dragstrip also. looking forward to this site

I had an 04, and my sister has an 06 that has the same interior cloth that my 04 had... water would stain these seats so be careful!! just my .02... I'm sure there's someone on here that found some good products to use if not, one of my buddies is a detail specialist and I'll ask him next time I see em...

BTW Welcome to the forum!!!

Believe it or not I just bought a product I found in the Walmart auto section called TUFF STUFF. Comes in a bright yellow can and let me tell you I was impressed. It did a great job on my seats and carpet. First I sprayed the carpets, lightly brushed then then wiped with a damp towel and dayumm did they look good.

thats the same stuff i used the first time around on a coke spill and it worked great. i was wondering if there was anything else out there though.

i may just end up using that stuff again all over the seats and console

oxyclean ... mix it with water to make a solution and either spray it on or use a damp cloth. It works GREAT.

I use a Bissell Little Green steam cleaner. It is great, but you do have to be cautious since any residue left behind will leave a water stain.

i would buy some stuff for a carpet cleaner and just use that. i used it twice and it did a pretty good job but it could be done better.

dnlow, i was thinking about using a steam cleaner. you know, first using that tuff stuff product on the seats, then picking it up with a steam cleaner.

think that would be a good combo?
