Default Clicking noise

I have a 2001 4x4, 5.4. I had a bad left front cv. I replaced it, and when I took it for a spin afterward, I heard a clicking noise. The noise went away after a short while and everything was fine for about a week. Then today, on my way home from work it was back. It keeps pace with my speed, the faster I drive the faster it clicks. Sounds like it's coming from the back. No slop in the u joint and no play in the wheels to indicate a wheel bearing. Rear rotors and pads are brand new (less than a month). No idea what is going on, any advice would be appreciated!
