jet engine?

give us all the facts man, lol

Generally, if you remove the cats on the new f150's, the check engine light will come on, and they will run poor. Your best bet is to go and get some high flow cats, and have them put in at a quality exhaust shop so you know it is done right and won't throw codes.

I would go with high flow cats. That way you wont trow any codes and still get beter performance and some more noise.

The Cats on your truck are already high flow. All you are doing is wasting money. Invest the money in a high quality exhuast. You gave to remember your Ford has special cats. It captures all unburnt items, and sends it back to reburnt.

if your state doesn't check emissions, get rid of the cats all together. youl get a little more power, better sound, and a little better fuel mileage. this is assuming you get your truck tuned (possibly handhelds work) for it, otherwise it wont do you much good as youl be running in open loop and will probably get worse fuel mileage.
