Default Can someone ID this type of motor?
Per my previous posting. The dealer took this picture and says the motor is a 5.0, not a 6.2.Name: 5.0 or 6.2.jpeg Views: 669 Size: 141.5 KB

What year is this supposed to be? The engine (5.0) in my truck looks a little different.

Different how? Mine looks almost identical to that one only cleaner...

Like I said it looks "a little" different, which is why I was wondering what year it is, soon as my picture server gets back online I'll post a pic, for one those block looking things extending out over the intake runner tubes, mine has an insulating cover over the fuel rail but they don't extend out like the op's, and there's a couple lines near the throttle body that are also different.

Probably just a different year model but it is different.

NVH (Noise Vibration Harshness) insulators .....
Some years' are different. Some have none at all.
