My transmission slipped..it only has done it once

What year. I had a 2005 and the transmission slipped with 30k on it and I dumped the truck because it scared me that it was doing that with only 30k on it.

Dang I have a 2010 with 35k and it has not done it yet but what were u doing when it happened and it might be the transmition just needs some grease where it meets the drive shaft.

Yea just to play it safe but I had a 06 the trans did not go into park I just played with it and it is fine right now.

There was a TSB 09-15-04 to have the 09 trans reflashed for some shifting issues. Your dealer can do the reflash if it hasn't been performed. May or may not be the issue with your truck.
