I have an 04 4.6 L police interceptor and tranny that I need to know if it will bolt up in my 02 F150 that has a 4.2 L V6 in it with an automatic tranny. I'm new to this, so I need all the help I can get... Lol

No dis' but in your case (being new) No.

Issues would include (though are not limited to) ...
  • getting F-150 4.6L components to facilitate the transplant. e.g.
    • wiring harnesses.
    • exhaust manifolds.
    • oil pan (?).
    • FEAD.
    • airbox and MAF. *the 2004+ P71's is larger and needs PCM considerations.
    • intake manifold (?)
    • fuel rails *returnless considerations.
      etc., etc., etc..
  • PCM considerations for both the engine and transmission.
    etc., etc., etc..
YES it can/could be done with
.
