Default Camper, cap, or topper?

What do you folks call it. Where I grew up in PA, it was always called a truck cap. Then I moved away and found the most other areas call them campers.

When I hear camper, I think of the slide-in RV in a truck bed. What do you call it, and what geographic area are you in?

I call it a topper, but if people get a confused look I say truck cap. Many around here call it a topper though, Florida.

I live in Maryland and they have always been truck caps.

My idea of a camper is something we in Maryland refer to as a "West Virginia Summer Home," but others would call that a slide-in camper.
