Hey guys I'm using the thread about the cam phaser problem to do repairs on my 2008 f150 5.4. I have removed all the parts in front of the timing cover and moved all wire looms out of the way. I can't seem to get the tranny stick/tube out. There is no bracket attaching it anywhere that I can see. Help!!!!

Also on the left side all parts removed except a solid vacuum line from the booster it is definitely in the way to remove the valve cover, it goes back behind at the firewall. Engine assembled in Octoder of 2007 if that helps.

Have ford manuals but it appears there is a difference in my truck.

Baffled, any help would be appreciated.
