A buyers Market for Trucks
Ford last month said it was slashing truck production while trying to boost output of small cars. Ford also abandoned a target of returning to profit in 2009. The company relied on large pickups and sport-utility vehicles for the bulk of its earnings in the 1990s.
GM Closing 4 truck plans slashing production capacity by 700,000 trucks a years, the Hummer division is in trouble and may be sold off.
The sales of Dodge trucks in down 25%
All three companies have large numbers of unsold trucks. If you where to walk on to a dealer's lot looking to purchase a Ford, or anyother brand of Truck you can expect you have a fist fight between salesmen trying to be the one to sell you that truck.
