On my side it ended with a brake cleanup, disc turned, after this the braking performance was restored. I think it's very costly (about 300 bucks) to have to make a brake cleanup only after 2 years / 12k miles.

Default Brake problems not over!!!!!

Have they checked your ABS pump?
I've been dealing with the sticking brake calipers etc....
Dealership said I had bad front driver side caliper and it needed to be changed. I had it changed and it worked fine for about a month then caliper started sticking and overheating again.
They said must have been defective caliper so had caliper changed out.
Driver side caliper working, fine but now front side passenger caliper sticking & overheating.
Now they say I have a bad caliper on passenger side and it needs to be changed. Same things happens--changed-works ok for a few days then starts overheating and sticking- bad caliper blah blah-
Still no fix so it must be bad brake hoses and need to be changed and that will correct problem.
Gee thanks for letting me buy all this other ****.
WRONG!!!!! NOT BAD BRAKE HOSES.
Oh!! hooking up truck to computer to monitor brake line pressures and low and behold it seems the ABS pump seems to be bad.
Sent ABS pump off to be rebuilt but pump was in such bad shape could not be repaired and cost to much.
Ordering new ABS pump for truck but no dealerships in Louisiana,Texas or any surrounding state has a pump for crew cab.
June 10th I go on vacation and a few days later I get a phone call explaining that ABS pump is on back order from factory and it may not be in until end of month. Holy ****!!!!
I get back from vacation and shop lets me know that they haven't stopped trying to get pump and have one coming mid week and I'm so relieved.
Mid week comes and shop calls to explain that the dip ships sent wrong ABS pump and it was for a regular cab not a crew cab.
Stay tuned folks still waiting this week
THESE STEPS ARE ALL PER TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN AND PARTS TO CHANGE FOR FIX OR REPAIR.

Any other experiences with this?

I had 2 close calls about 2 years ago of people pulling out in front of me. I pressed the brake pedal so hard I pulled a muscle in my leg and truck would not lock tires/engage abs.

Kinda forgot about it til just this week, was going 60 mph and a light changed I had one of those do I brake or gas moments, ended up hitting the brakes and truck just glided if someone was in front of me I would have hit them.

I drive pretty easy most of the time so don't really worry about it, but thought is always in my head about what if it happens while towing. I'm due for front pads but they actually aren't that bad for 112k miles.

For sure going to do pads soon and check fuses. I replaced the vacuum pump myself last year. Dealer has scanned my truck a bunch of times recently for timing chain issues and haven't mentioned anything.

Thumbs down 2011 F150 XLT EB Brake stopping issue from day 1

I purchased my F150 brand new at Sands Ford and been having the same issue with the lack of stopping power from day one. I asked the dealer to check for issues and they found none. This check was done while the vehicle was under warranty. I now have approx 30K mile on the vehicle, warranty expired and still having the same problem. The other day I had a panic stop at about 45 mph for a dear. Could not lock the brakes up or engage the ABS. Nearly hit the dear. Never had a braking system as bad as this.
