FULL synthetic, and a Motorcraft filter.
Mobil 1 is all I use in my DD's.

Stick to Motorcraft filters in your truck because they're superior to most aftermarket filters.
I only use Purolator / Wix in my other vehicles but Ford's motorcraft is unquestionable.

Absolutely nothing wrong with using Synthetic blend.

The more important thing is frequency of oil changes and proper filter here.
Synthetic is definitely proven to be better for longer though. But both are fine.

Like you say some peoples use full syn oil but they never change their oil ,its better change more often even with mineral oils than keep for ever with full syn

Any oil that's doing it's job gets dirty and contaminated, be it synthetic or conventional. That's the reason I don't see myself ever doing a 10,000 mile oil change.

IMHO go with Mobile 1. I have had 2 Triton motors, both 6.8L V10's. The 1997 had 430k+ miles and was running fine when I sold t and my '02 has 230k and is running strong. All of those miles with 5w20 mobile 1 synthetic.

Default i Use

5-30 mobil one with a wix filter which is also NAPA Gold and O'rielly top of line filters. Just change oil regularly I have 220 grand on the clock now and it still does not burn oil. Changinging when its supposed to be changed is what counts...But full syn out performs any other oil by a ton but there is a price differential. Texaco or Ashland(Valvoline) normally have the contracts for Mororcraft oil so its good oil.Purolator makes Motorcraft filters exactly like they make theirs.
