Same here cept I have to punch the clock @ 5am. If you can find someone selling a used set for decent price go for it, I paid $1,300 for new ones.

I consider mine a steal then... I have $560 in my retros. Thats the service, new headlights, projectors, and even new bulbs and harness. By the by ol'skool, what year is your truck? I might be able to point you to a used set of retros for 09-14's for a good price... Guhy has them on here for sale.

It's an '05 Lariat screw. Right now is green over tan, but I'm looking real hard at plastidipping it black. If I end up going this route, which is pretty likely, Id like to throw some black out headlights like these in it.

I've some other black and chrome trucks and just really like the look of it.

Definitely a good choice of headlights. If you do ever retrofit, you can definitely try your hand at it. There should be a few people that have done a thread or two about when they did theirs. If you're going to look for all the parts for it, TheRetrofitSource.com is your place.
Either that, or you might find a used set of retro's that used those lenses. With how good of design they are... Those lenses are pretty commonly used in retrofits. There are also a couple of retrofitters on here that can help you. Whatever route you take, there are definitely options no matter what path you chose.

misses 3 on the tree
best money I spent for an add on for the new truck was the tool box I bought back in '99 for the then new 99 XLT I had. I paid about 180 bucks for it and the 14 it sits on now is the third truck is has been on. Works out to about $1 a month. I don't know how I'd get along without it.
As for an add on for the newest truck only, without a doubt it is window tint. Does not feel like I am driving a fish bowl anymore.
