Question Best/ Easiest/ Cheapest way to clean a gas tank?

??? I have a truck i just bought that had gas sitting in it for about a year and a half. what should i do to clean it? im kinda broke so it cant be buy a new gas tank. lol thanks guys/ gals.

Drop the tank, put a chain in it with the gas still in it and shake the hell out of it.. the chain will knock off all the rust and crap inside then dump the gas.. put some water in it with the chain and just keep shaking it and dumping till eventually the water you pour out is clear.. then let it COMPLETLY dry before you put it back in.. I have a heat gun I use to speed up the process but any heat will help maybe even a hair dryer or somthing if you dont have a heat gun.. just make sure its dry before you put it back in the truck

Greatest thing ever... My Honda had a plug built into the tank to drain old fuel... It came in handy if it ever got sugared!
