I can't imagine using a brush on my paint.
I use the same thing as summers22.
I will use a brush on my wheels though, and in the wheelwells, and tires.

Unless you don't care about that

I might use a brush on a white or a silver truck but not a black truck...and FWIW 14 of my last 18 vehicles have been black.

Safest way to wash a vehicle without causing scratches to appear is by using a high quality boars hair brush. Lots of density with split hairs is the key.

I am betting microfiber is just as safe as boars hair and 100 times easier to obtain. Not that there is anything wrong with boars hair. Where do you get it?

I don't care what you use . If there are pieces of Rock and dirt stuck to the paint and you manually push it around it will show.
