Default Are bed toppers ONLY for older folks???

So, are bed toppers like the Leer XQ only for the older crowd? In other words, when you see a bed topper, do you only think of older folks?

Seems to be the case around here for the most part although I had a cap on my old Ranger when I was 17.

they arent very common here at all... tonneau covers are growing in popularity... (i know that isnt spelled right) but when you see a topper, its more then likely an older couple

I don't mind toppers, they are practical especially for winter. I think they look pretty good on some trucks. However, I've always had a tonneau cover on my trucks because they are cheap and are easily removed when I need to throw my quad in the bed. My dad has a topper on his F250 and I love it when going racing or snowmobiling. I'm 23 btw.

Unfortunately I had to put one on my new truck but I need it for work. A tonneau just wouldn't work for me but would look a lot better.

Out here in the pacific nw, if you want to keep anything dry, you pretty much need one. i'd venture a pretty large percentage of trucks have them. For me, its all about the dogs. I love taking them places and a canopy of some sort if the only way.

When I think cover or topper............ I think grocery getter.....

I don't think- TRUCK!!!!

just me .02...

Especially if said truck has a bed rug...... My truck looks perty from the outside- but the bed has more scratches than a stray cat and more dents than a demo car......
