Been through batteries alternators fusses checked,came to the battery light,its not on and not charging,do i need to change check bulb in cluster?seems to ruin alternator as soon as i start the truck with a new alternator

If the ground to an alternator goes out, the light may not light and it won't charge. Learned that lesson on my wedding day.
