I'm thinking of putting a BAK Revolver X2 tonneau on my F150. I was convinced that was the way t go for me until I saw a review on you tube about the locking device freezing in the winter. I live in Buffalo, NY do we get winter. Just curious in anyone from cold climate has experience with this tonneau?

No issues with mine yet. This is my first winter with it and I live in Maine. We've had 2' of snow, freezing rain, and rain followed by freezing temperatures. One time it had a little ice in the track that broke out as I rolled it up, but it wasn't an issue and rolled back out and latched again no problem.

I have had it for two winters in Michigan and never had any kind of freezing issues.

I live in Denver and the rear tailgate seal freezes on mine when it snows , not a huge issue but it does happen .
