I just had an AS 1.5" leveling kit installed on my 2014 STX, the installation and alignment went flawlessly, I love the new stance. This is the stance when my popup camper is attached.
I only got 2 inchs of lift from 2.5 kit and am getting noise from springs going over speed bumps, rr tracks etc. may have to remove kit. Talked to Autospring and they say ford has used springs from 2wd trucks in some 4x4s and this could be cause. This information given to me today 07/27 by Mike at Autospring.
Well the verdict is in. The upper control arm is hitting the spring. 2.5 inch Autospring coming off and going to try Fox coilover 2" kit. If this doesnt work I guess upper control arms are next. What a pain. My real objective was to get larger 34-35 inch A/T tires to fit with no rubbing. Apparently this situation is not isolated from talking to some 4x4 install experts. Do your homework before buying a kit for the 2014. I will keep this thread running to keep all informed of steps Im taking to resolve this.
P.S. The Pirelli Scorpions suck *** in the snow. Got to get this resolved before snow.

a 2.5" kit is going to lower (angle down) the UCA pretty steep on any recent year F150 ... not just 2014 models. Regardless of tire size you are severely limiting downtravel with that size level and factory UCA's.
You say you wanted to run 34" or 35" tires? I'm running a 1.5" AS level kit ... AND ... 295/60r20 MT's, on factory wheels and factory UCA's ... NO rubbing, NO issues with the AS kit, and my downtravel is only slightly limited.
In my estimation, the issue is not the AS kit itself, but rather with the simple reality of geometry. The 2.5" kit lowers the UCA's so much that they start next to the coilovers, AND narrows your front track width a bit as well.
Long story short, trade your 2.5" kit back in for a 1.5" kit ... get some 2" rear blocks ... install that stuff, and then put on your 34/35" tires ... trim the small amount of plastic that rubs, and go have fun with your truck.

I wanted to maintain the rake look due to towing and my quad in the back. Deff makes the truck more beefy. Im 6'6 and I have to raise my tall legs even higher now getting in the truck. I personally wouldn't want to do a 4 or 6 inch lift after having this done now. When its your daily driver, you don't wanna be jumping in and out of the thing all the time when its lifted to high. Gets annoying really really quick. OH and I forgot to mention, the 35x12.5r20 nittos are going on this weekend so that should make it sit even higher.

I hope you have some spacers of aftermarket wheels w/ about a +12 offset, give or take ... cuz those Nittos are wide, and are going to be all over your UCA's unless you space them off. However, once you get it setup, they WILL look great.
And, as far as the amount of lift, I agree that even a 4" lift on a DD is too much - unless you really need it. The only drawback I find w/ any level (ANY level) is how it limits downtravel ... I have the 1.5" kit on my truck, and even that small amount of change does affect downtravel. Yes, I could change UCA's or go to a different coilover that has a more narrow profile so that the UCA could move/pivot further down ... but by the time you get through with doing all that stuff, you've spent almost as much as going with a lift (which is more than I'd like to spend on that type of mod)
