12000lbs and it's bolted to the frame via a Rough Country hidden winch mount.

Not sure what you mean by "recessed" It don't get any more recessed behind the bumper.

I can't believe how well that spot holds a winch. If I knew about this before I bought the EcoBoost I would have bought a 6.2 or a 5.0. In fact I've considered trading this truck off for this alone.

Yeah, my truck is 2wd thus the want/need for it + there's no drilling, bolt it on and roll.

i have an Eco and its not recommended to block that intake area...so i would need something recessed at the very least when not in use....
