Is anyone else having problems with peeling paint?

Can't offer any advice without pics.
Never seen a widespread problem with peeling, not on any f150 newer than an 08 any way. 1-2 here and there over the years, but no more than any other manufacturer has.
Any area where plastic, like bed rails, comes in contact with paint will wear away eventually. As tight as they seem, they still vibrate on the paint while driving over bumps.

Good grief, this thread was resurrected from 2011 by a single post and it's alive!!!!!! Safe to say 5 years later the paint is of better quality?

My 2007 F150's clear coat is peeling too. I'm having a problem with it peeling at the top of the bed. It only has about 70K on it & is in great shape. I wash it & wax it all the time & now this is the thanks I get. I think this will be my last Ford. My 2002 Camry's paint looks way better.

2012 F-150 Ecoboost tailgate paint peeling
There are two 2012 eco boost 'silver' F-150's in Decatur texas and one silver 2011 all with the paint peeling in the exact 3 spots! Incredible. Ford told me after 2yrs paint is a maintenance issue. Three body shops say the primer coat is defective and they have to take entire tailgate down to the metal and reprimer or new paint won't stay.. Paint should last the vehicles life which is estimated at 10 years.

Same issue
And I myself have a 2012 F150 eco-boost and two years after I had it the paint started peeling on the box and Ford told me that they would not repair this because it was just outside of the 60,000 km warranty even though I reported the issue before 60,000 km and yet they still would not help me I have seen it to work trucks at my current work with the exact same issue as well as my neighbour who had a brand new Ford and the pain started peeling within the first year and that was a 2018

Are all these peeling paint trucks of late maybe the same greys I wonder. I just don't notice it here.
My 2007's OEM red & grey paint both look great ... as does my 2001 Mercury's Toreador Red. I mention the '01 because so many police and former police Crown Vics pealed aweful, but they seem to be the white ones. My '95 Thunderbird has issues though.
