Annoying noise in ecoboost
I have a 2011 f150 ecoboost. When I start the truck for the first time of a day there is like a squealing noise that sounds like it's coming from the drive side front wheel well. It only last for approx. 5-10 seconds after I start it however it does it during medium to hard acceleration almost all the time. Any help would be great thanks.

From what other members have said on here it might be your vacuum pump.
Here is one thread I found using google:

Here is an excellent video on it:

I recommend letting the certified techs at your dealership take a look. Please send a PM with your current mileage; I'll see how I can assist.

The pump when it dies won't set off a CEL. To have the shop replace it with an updated plastic pump is in the $700 range. Without the pump the brakes will still work just fine, but there are times when they are pumped excessively or just after startup when there will be no boost.

Remove the drivers side headlight (3 - 10mm bolts) and the vacuum pump is there behind it. I just had a customer with no brakes on start up coupled with the loud pump sound. It was the vacuum pump.

Could be the timing chain has stretched.
