Proud Amerian w/Ford

I have a 89 F150 inline 6. I just replaced the oil pan gasket hoping that was the source of the leak. However as soon as I drove it my fears were confirmed that in fact the rear main seal is bad. Looking at all of the manuals it seems like a straight forward procedure. Is it as easy as it seems? I know of the tools that I need, but was wondering if this could be a one man job with a transmission jack. Don't feel like paying 300 bucks for labor even though that sounds like a good deal. I am pretty mechanical, was wondering if 1 1/2 days would be enough to get the job done
