85 F150 Fuel filler tube- Inner plastic hose?
I bought a new 19 gallon side tank, filler neck and hose from LMC. Only the large diameter outer rubber hose was available. The original filler tube from the truck had an inner corrugated plastic tube... which I believe carries the fuel to the tank and I think the large rubber hose is for venting. I have spent hours searching all of the online auto parts dealers and can't seem to locate the inner hose... what the heck do I do? Where can I get one? PLEASE help!!!!

Sport- Thanks for weighing in on the subject. I have called all of my local junkyards. They either "cut the filler necks off and save the tanks" or they "don't have anything that old in their yard"!!!
I suppose a fellar could get ahold of some tubing of the right diameter and "fabricate" his own inner filler tube? Since it seems this part is "un-obtanium" What say the gurus on this board???
One other possible solution. I saw on a Bronco post that the 1985 Bronco had the same style filler neck... with the small corrugated inner plastic tube and the larger diameter outer rubber sleeve for "burping"/venting the gas while filling. They say that was the last year for this style and that a 1986, 1987, 1988, etc style neck is a perfect fit, just styled differently without the little plastic dude in the inside. Is this true for the F150 as well?
