Default H2 Hummer or F150?

The past couple days this has crossed my mind.

I'm curious as to 2 things.

#1. Taking an F150 SuperCrew and comparing it to an H2 Hummer, which has the more spacious room. Head room/leg room/ width. Basically, not including the Truck Bed or Hummer Trunk, which is overall larger inside?

and

#2. Which engine is tougher/stronger for pulling and towing?

I'm sure some of you are wondering why I don't just google this myself, but I enjoy the discussion here and getting everyone's input.

This should not even be a comparison..H2s are a joke. The only hummer worth its weight is the H1 which is no longer legal for street use. Stick with your crewcab f150. I dont know why you would need more space than that unless you plan on having some nba ball players in your back seat.

H2s are a waste of space IMO. F150s are trucks H2s are piggy SUVs that have none of the versatility of an F150 crewcab.

1: H2 Assuming you didn't mean the SUT. It's wider and taller, in all sense of the word the H2 is a land yacht. H2 and F-150 are not in the same league, the comparison is kind of moot.

2: F-150 5.4 should out perform it. Not in a raw power sense, the 6.2lt vortec is a nifty little power plant, but the overall design of the f-150 is much better suited to trailering a larger load. Lower center of gravity (less sway), better gear ratios, lighter weight, transmission coolers...all on the F-150. Once again, a better comparison would be an F-250 to the H2.

2b(why you didn't google it yourself): Your probably just too lazy.

i would say that the hummer has more room on the inside but idk how much by. im going to say the f-150 is better at towing, i know the f150 can tow a lot more and to be honest i can't say i've ever seen an H2 towing anything.

Well, the 6.2L dropped into the newer H2's are more powerful than the Ford 5.4L. But as a towing vehicle, especially when trying to control the load, I'd give the nod to the F150. Max tow rating for the H2 is roughly 8K lbs, while the F150 greatly exceeds that.

Comparing specs (H2 vs F150 Screw specs), the F150 has barely more front and rear head room (41 to 40.5 inches front and 40.3 to 39.7 inches rear). Looks like the H2 has a slight advantage on the shoulder room, both front (66.4 to 65.9 inches) and back (66.3 to 65.6 inches). The front legroom is nearly identical (41.4 inches for Ford & 41.3 inches for H2), but the Screw F150 has a huge advantage over the H2 in rear legroom (43.5 to 38.6 inches). The H2 has a slight advantage in front hip room (62.9 to 60.5 inches), while the F150 has the advantage in rear hip room (64.6 inches to 62 inches).

Here's an idea, Google. I already did and found that comparison in 10 seconds.

As far as the H1s go, I am pretty sure the ones that were sold already are grandfathered in, but they no longer make them for public use, and the military refuses to sell surplus hummers anymore. They sell them overseas to foreign militia or they destroy them....what a waste
