Because they do more highway than you. The only thing accomplished by reading peoples MPG reports is you get an idea of the ratio of city to highway driving that they do.

My lifetime is also 15.8 but I get 23 on the freeway. Im forced to do mostly city driving which is ****ing up my lifetime average
