Default 4r70w transmission interchange help

I have a 95 f-150 5.0l with 4r70w trans. Have a chance at good deal on 4r70w out of 2001 f-150 with 4.6l engine.
Will it fit mine without problems or throwing any codes?
Are the gear ratios the same?
Same computer programing?
Thanks for any help. Dave
