Default 4 wheel drive indicator

When I put the truck in 4 wheel drive high the indicator light flashs on but does not stay on. The 4 wheel drive is engaged but the indicator does not stay on. Can someone give me some information on this?

2007. The 4 wheel drive seems to work fine. In snow or mud it make a huge differance.

i did it myself. took about 5 minutes and the solenoid costs about $30. if your trucks still under warrantee just have them do it.
