no, gone is the best looking late model f150 they made. now we have a bloated design that looks too radical and doesnt even look like a ford anymore, it looks like the bastard love child of a nissan, tundra, and chevy. and now a gnat would put a hole in it since its aluminum.

While the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra are (in a way) the same basic truck, the little details DO make all the difference. While there's nothing we can do about the also hideous squared-off wheel wells - which make NO sense in any galaxy - at least the GMC has a more "unified" and "appropriate" grille and front end that lends itself to a MUCH more attractive look.
Seriously, look at the difference!!! The GMC front end is the same overall dimensions (ie: overall width of the front end, and overall height), yet it doesn't look like it's been squashed in a car crusher the way the Chevy does. The headlight assemblies are unified and one "component" which makes a LOT more sense and is WAY more attractive. The way the lower bumper valence ties into the bumper on the GMC looks much more designed and unified with the truck vs. the Chevy, which has that obnoxious recess between the bumper and valence - which just adds yet another long horizontal "line" across the front end that further reinforces that wide squatty/smashed-down look of the front end on the Chevy.
Seriously - and having NOTHING to do with being biased towards Ford - Chevy just can't get it right. The GMC is leaps and bounds more attractive than the Chevy. For a further comparison, I've always found that the front end of the F250 is VERY attractive, as it's got that nice "meaty" front end and grille, giving it an aggressive, strong look. The newer F150's (starting back in '09), up through the current generation of F150's have adopted that look, and it's served the F150 very well in the looks department. The GMC trucks have adopted that same style of front end, as has Toyota - and they too have benefited greatly from that move in the looks department.
The Chevy, unfortunately, just can't get out of it's own way - much like the Dodge/Ram - both of which continue to design the front end of their trucks as if they are trying to make them as ugly as they possibly can.

What's wrong, you ask? Just about everything if you ask me. I have never liked the huge horizontal bar through the middle of the front end of these trucks ... not the older way it was implemented, or the way it is in the picture above. It's almost as ugly as the front end of a Dodge/Ram. It makes the front end of the truck look thin and wide, divides the lights on either side, puts too much color down the middle of the front end, etc. The list just goes on.

I also really like the new chevy look. I have a 14 f150 was going to get a 15 but just not a fan of the new look. Hopefully the refresh I will like. The chevy though has nothing exciting about it. The ecoboost sold me so much fun to drive

It seems that just recently we saw Atlas concept and new F-150 that was based on it, but this happened all the way back in 2015. It is time for the mid-cycle refresh and apparently this will happen with 2018 version.
To back this up, we are delivering spy photos of the test vehicle that was spotted in Dearborn, Michigan. This is quite logical since we know that test track, product development center and company’s headquarters are near. During the last few years, we could see few changes to the F-150 truck and those include the addition of 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost turbocharged engine, new 10-speed automatic transmission and Raptor model that has been announced for 2017.

If it was green, it would look like a bloated Kermit the frog.
