2018 Ford F-150 – Spy Photos
It seems that just recently we saw Atlas concept and new F-150 that was based on it, but this happened all the way back in 2015. It is time for the mid-cycle refresh and apparently this will happen with 2018 version.
To back this up, we are delivering spy photos of the test vehicle that was spotted in Dearborn, Michigan. This is quite logical since we know that test track, product development center and company’s headquarters are near. During the last few years, we could see few changes to the F-150 truck and those include the addition of 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost turbocharged engine, new 10-speed automatic transmission and Raptor model that has been announced for 2017.

It seems so soon for a refresh, but I guess you have to keep things fresh if you want to stay on top. I still think the 2015-2016 trucks are the most sharp, modern looking trucks on the road (After GM absolutely ruined their front ends). Then again the F-150 is heavily based on the Atlas concept which technically came out in 2013.

I hope you mean the non-LED taillights...because I'm fairly certain the LED taillights on my Lariat can be seen from space.

I'm guessing just a slight headlight or grill change, this early in the run.

What's wrong with GM's/chevy's front end? I liked the F150 front end pre '15, but think the chevy front end is nice with the re-design.

Fun Information, indeed.
I attended a Market Research last February in Denver.
They wanted out options on Various Doge, Chevy , G.M. and one Ford F150?
They majority were Chevy 1500. At least 5. Maybe 3 Dodge Trucks. Two G.M.C. , one Ford F150 in Silver.
The Dodge's were Black, Silver & Red. The Chevy trucks were Black, Silver, Red and Tan.
The Chevy's all were different. grills Front Fenders, Side and Tail Gate. One had Round Fender wells. Something I haven't seen for awhile.
I assumed the F150 was a 2017. Something looked different but couldn't pin it down.
The Grill and maybe the Tail gate looked slightly different.
The Chevy Trucks were all different .
The all had Prices with Various options. The Chevy's still had less Horses than Ford or Dodge. Less torque etc.
Tool about three hours and paid $125.00.
It was very interesting, to say the least?

That was one of the selling points for me. The F-150 finally looks how a truck should look to me. Gone are the depressing oval lights, the sloped angled car like front end, the flat featureless skin that looked like a gnat would dent it. Its tough and strong looking now.
