Yes it has been aligned and I rotate and check things over every 5000 miles as well.
Today they put wheels and tires from another truck and want me to try it over the weekend.
The service manager road testes my truck and agrees he would not be happy with the way mine rides if it where his. Opened up another claim with ford and this is the last straw .
The camels back is backing !!!!!

Exclamation

this was on a '14. Just bad vibration in the truck. Very pronounced around 53-58mph. Lower or higher speeds than that wasn't that bad (still noticeable)..... Balanced tired, forced balanced them, new set of tires (ones on were Michelin). You could see the tailgate on the drivers side bounce up and down (sometimes violently). I had to wonder if the folks behind me seen it.). Then I started having this awful squeaking in the leaf springs. Was in and out of the dealer several times. Now, I did have a REGULAR cab, so I think this complicated it, but I drove a SCAB and it was worse. I did drive crew at one point, and the vibration was there, but no where as pronounced.
In the end, they just gave up, and told me it was the "HARMONICS of the suspension on a regular cab pickup with the two-piece drive shaft.....
Traded it off thereafter. Dealer never sold it, went to auction.

I've had a RAM since then, it was a smooth driving truck (maybe because of the coil suspension), but I didn't care much for that 8 speed.

Have a chevy now, and its the smoothest driving truck I've ever owned (even with 20's) (double cab).

I keep hearing about this issue, even in the newer trucks, which makes me wonder why Ford engineers have never been to isolate this issue.

After battling a vibration problem since new and multiple attempts to fix by the dealer I
Am calling it quits with this truck and trading it in. Ford customer service is a joke !! They just read script and really don't care about their customers . They could care less if you jump ship or stay with ford and just don't care at all. Very frustrating process.
I must say the dealer has been good in trying to resolve my problem But it is time to move on before I rack up to many miles and it gets to far down the road .
Hope the new one is better or time to change brands and move on from ford for good....

If you want to be nasty than call up the DOT and tell them that you have a brand new dealer serviced truck that vibrates so badly that you feel that it is unsafe to drive not only due to the shaking but because no one knows what is causing it and you are afraid of a breakage which may cause an accident.. They should respond with an inspection of their own and they will find the issue.

some of the Vibration occurs when both front windows are open and a rear window is slightly open. Combinations of Moon Roof and windows will make you wondering what is going on.
I had a 2012 FX4 and took it to my dealer. Bad alignment and one low front tire with low air pressure.

Nothing like that but thanks . We have cover all the bases and I have Spent enough time and energy dealing with ford about it. Just getting a different one and go from there.
I have been back to the dealer well over a dozen times and have had to drive this over 13,000 miles with the condition. I have had enough and have learned alot about what ford thinks of there hard working customers . They are way out of touch with how much 60,000 dollars is and what the working man has to do to earn it. It is no big deal to spend hard earned money on something and you get what you get and it is what it is, sorry you are not happy but it is within fords acceptable vibration parameters. Can we offer you a flash light of a 100 dollar service credit to make things right . I Don't Think So...

Snowdevil I am having the exact same issue. I have a 16' 5.0 with a 6.5 bed and it starts to shake a t 65mph and really bad around 75mph. Could you please update what you did, if you went with a new Ford and the issue is not on the new one. Or did you go with a different brand. Also did you try new aftermarket shocks. Thanks

Sorry to hear that. I did order a new f150 and the build date is this week so I will get it in the next few weeks I hope. I now have 22,000 miles on it and still have the vibration.
The problem with mine has been narrowed down to the rims and ford refuses to replace them . I could buy new rims at my expense but I have lost the excitement and good feeling about buying a new truck. I hope the new one is better and problem is resolved but if not I will go back to a f350.
You may want to try a set of rims off another truck and see what happens , I tried 3 sets off of another new truck and some of friends trucks and all made the difference for the better.
Good luck

I can tell you this, I would never buy another new FORD if thats the way they treated you. In Florida we have Lemon Laws that force the dealers to replace the vehicle if they cant fix it after three attempts.

We have that law as well but it is a major hassle and time consuming. My dealer has been great and will make it right in the end. Factory ford sucks !! To deal with after the fact.
I have had many ford trucks and they have all been great I guess I was due for a problem child. What other options do I have ? A dodge or Chevy I don't think so.. I have a great relationship with my dealer and it will all work out in the end..
