Trucks are like women, after awhile you start to get comfortable.
....And just like women they don't like being taken for granted.

Well that explains the monthly attitude problem.

here is my video review, pretty darn close to what the original poster said and I had no idea before about this thread.

That was my review last year. This past January it got totaled and due to circumstances was not able to find a replacement 14 so got a 16.

A couple things noticed between the rental 5.0 and what one I got which is the 3.5 EB, the EB also felt like a dog, and that turns out to be the sport mode addition. In the 14, there were 2 modes, normal and tow/haul, so great pedal feel. That said, I still have no clue how the 5.0 compares to the EB from a dead stop with sport mode.

I had 63K on the 14 when it got totaled, and I now have nearly 14K on the 16, and I still do not like the seat. It is definitely not as comfortable as the 14.

As far as the steering, the 5.0 and EB have a different feel to the steering, the problem I felt in the rental is not there in mine. I don't know if it has anything to do with the engine, or if its due to the different wheel base.

I did my first long distance towing over the past weekend, and all I can say is, man does it tow nice, might have something to do with having 5100's at all four corners, but it is a nice tow rig.

Another thing I found that is nice about the 16 is that the bed is not as tall, by about 2 inches. I can open the tailgate while still hitched to the trailer, a real plus.

I still miss the 14 though for the comfort and the fact that I can actually store water bottles in the bottle holder in the doors, unlike the fake bottle holders they have there now as an after thought.
