2015 F150 whooping noise
Just picked up a brand new truck...5 miles on it. 90% of my driving is highway. At about 65 mph there is a "whoop whoop whoop" noise. It happens when under load/ accelerating , goes away when you let off of gas. Sounds like a rear end issue. Brought it back to dealer ... Told me it was a rear end bearing issue, gave me a new truck. New truck has same noise....went back to dealer ..took all the big shots for a ride in two more trucks, same noise. Now they are telling me it's the exhaust..normal noise. It's a 2.7 eco boost Anyone else have this issue. It's loud and annoying. Don't think for 35k you should have to listen to "whoop whoop whoop" every time you drive down the highway

Found the answer!!! It's the ecoboost. The 3.5 Eco makes the same noise. Took a standard 3.5 and a 5.0 out....no noise.
If your buying a new ecoboost truck...test drive it on the highway!

I must keep my radio turned up too loud to hear it. Not familiar with any whooping noise.

Would be interesting if this was posted in the 2015 section if anyone else has heard this, I know I never have and as far as I know nobody else has complained about it.
