Default Would there be significant MPG savings when hauling a bed camper vs towing a trailer?

I plan on doing a lot of travelling either in a camper or a travel trailer. The benefits of hauling a camper is easier parking, and I could tow a tiny cargo trailer or motorcycle trailer at the same time. However if I tow a travel trailer I feel my fuel economy would really suffer. Do you think the fuel economy savings by hauling a bed camper would be significant?

I plan on getting a 2WD 4.6L

Thank you!

There is zero saving man, either way its more weight and increased wind drag.

See the little Boler I'm towing in my pic? My gas mileage was **** towing that thing, about the same taking a large load to the dump in my trucks box.

I don't think an F150 in any configuration could handle a bed camper and the associated gear and people in the cab let alone the added tongue weight of a trailer. Better look at an F250 at least. I wanted to do the same thing you're thinking of and the numbers did not add up. A toy hauler travel trailer is a better option with the 150.
