job to argue that logic, for sure.

nervous....excited....I guess I'm both, but more excited. I just wonder what it will look like lol. hope better than current. which still looks good, but not as good as several gens before it.

I hope I don't have to deal with this new stuff for a long time though....'99 gets restored in a couple years, used for a classic, looking for an '06-'08....fully restore it, coat the undercarriage etc. in a bedliner product, really look after it, and drive it till I can't anymore. that's the plan lol....

I hear ya. I still daily drive my 2004 FX4 with 130,000 miles and love it. I love the looks of the new generation and like engine options when compared to the 5.4...but still haven't been able to talk myself into getting rid of the 04. I love that body style. The wife has had the best idea yet....wait a few years, save some money buy a brand new F150 and keep the 04 for dirty work and use the new F150 for leisure and towing the TT.
Part of me also wants a new 5.0 mustang though.....I've tossed around the idea of just keeping the 04 as the tow vehicle and for doing truck duties and having the payments be on a new Mustang instead of a truck decisions decisions!

Either way, this 2015 MY will come right at about the right time for me. It will allow me to make a final decision. Either jump on the new gen F150 if its that awesome, or get a 2014 before they are too hard to find in the configuration I want and stick with the best of the previous, or forgo a new truck all together and rely on the trusty old 5.4 and get me my new muscle car.

I know lol. and speaking of, I checked out your truck, it's really nice.

I'd rather buy a tenage truck and do it up any day than a new one....get it cheap, own it outright right off, and put money into mods as available....

not letting the '99 go down, LOVE that truck. she's parked for now, soon getting the back half of her frame rebuilt and reinforced....just got her back from frame repairs not so long ago lol....I swear, all trucks sold in NL should have their frames spayed with bedliner or something....

Thanks man. I put a lot of money and work into it when I first bought it...now it just gets the crap driven out of it haha. Probably only maintenance money put into it from now on.

yeah, the '99 gets truck duties put on her every so often, nothing major...load of firewood, hauling the boats....can't wait to get her fully restored, then as the $$$$ is there, get her loaded with mods. lift, big tires, etc...

I'd just prefer the feeling of an old truck any day....but the problem is, you want any truck to live to be very old here, you better be prepared to REALLY put a LOT of work into it. most people just drive them till the frame rusts in half or something, and throw them away. real shame IMO....

but there it is. the time is drawing near, so we will soon see a good deal more and make judgements based on more than rumours and speculation. and going with the case that it will be close to the final truck, see what it looks like...

that's what I'm anxious for. I wanna see what it looks like...lol

Speaking of. Is there any channel on TV that will be covering the show? Or will we just have to check it out online after the reveal?

Sure wish I was at the show to see it first hand... Not to stray to far from.the OP but here is a pic/concept of the next Mustang and rumor has it it's going to look almost identical to this.
