Hey guys I have a 2014 f150 fx4 with roughly 13,000 miles on it and at about 5,000 miles I experienced a hard growl and grind from the front end while driving right after start up..if I stop and put it in 4 high and than back to 2wd it goes away and there is a pop coming from the front drivers side. And just a few days ago it happened again, now when I go to use 4wd the front end grinds. This should not be happening and I'm considering bringing it to the dealer, any help?

Actuator for the 4 wheel drive has the front end partially engaged...common problem on the new Ford's. Flunkee from engineering school must have designed these!!

I was just under the truck, the transfer case is pissing out oul

Probably oughta get it into the dealership and put your heel on a neck. Pissing oil is definitely NOT a factory option.

I wouldn't call that "pissing" oil

that isn't t-case fluid tho, thats regular oil

Well, the skid plate was load with oil..I have no idea what is going on so that is why it's going to the dealer

Recent oil change? FX4 Skid plate collects it.

Yes 3000 miles ago, however why would it appear to be coming from the t-case and the 4wd grinds and growls
