Got mine back from the dealer yesterday. Problem is much better but not gone. I will drive it for a while and see if anything changes. I agree with the last post. New chevy's sure are looking good.... Maybe even an ecodiesel Goat...

I took my truck in for this same problem. they couldn't duplicate noise either. so I got truck back problem not fixed. as of lately I get the growning noise while driving mostly between shifts. it doesn't happen all the time but enough to annoy me. and tonight I put in park and got the loud vibration noise. had to take out of gear to make it go away. I only have 8k miles im gonna call tomarrow to get a fix. hopefully.

Besides putting into park or gear I think the sound also occurs generally when in 3rd or shifting from 3rd to 4th. I seem to notice it while driving the most in that range???

I got probably the same issue....dealer told me no loaner which is horrible customer service.

Of course everytime I go to the dealer to have them hear the issue it doesn't do it so I am stuck having to drop it off and leave it thus leaving me without a car for who knows how long.

I took truck in yesterday and I called late in the day to see whats going on. they said they were on the hotline and have the tsb to fix the problem. they are overniting the transmission valves parts and should have in today.

Does yours or did yours have a delayed shift or strickly noise??

My local dealer did all of the above and also found the thermal bypass valve installed crooked in the bore.

Mostly noise but did have delayshift once and a while. Mine also made the noise while driving 3.4 shift and 4.5. You can feel in the feet while driving and hear noise. I should have rig back today. They said there was a tsb that replaces the other tsb.

Mine had all 3 before the repair. It had a noise shifting from 3 to 4th since I drove it off the lot, it had the vibration noise in park and very rarely it would have a delay hard shift into reverse. It was never constant though and that was frustrating. Since the repair I haven't had any of the issues so I'm hoping everything is good. I'm curious what the new tsb says. mrcmbenton, if you don't mind, post the fix summary when you get it.
