Sorry for the bump, but am I experiencing the same issue (video below)? My local service manager said the following, but I disagree.

I was going from the video you sent us and that noise was in park and would not pertain to that TSB, if you also have a buzz noise we can duplicate then it would apply. I cannot find a bulletin that has your symptom, but have had complaints about it. Like I said we have not been able to duplicate it in our shop to diagnosis. There is definitely is something creating a noise just need to get it to do it, fix it and verify it is fixed. Which could be a few days in the shop since it seems to happen after sitting. Let me know what you would like to do.

That is DEFINATELY the noise/growl. But it doesn't do it continually like that all the time does it?

Most of the time just shifting into park thru the gears? or back down to park after its already did the noise?

did you show them that TSB?

This was the last and final draw before I traded mine off.

I sent the Service Manager at Earnhardt Ford in Chandler the TSB and I have an appointment on Monday. However, I'm getting the 'must duplicate' rhetoric despite the video evidence. We'll see what happens with the service appointment.

I can tell you that I will NOT be buying another Ford after this experience. Hell, I was planning on buying the new GT350 and an Explorer for my wife too. I've had great experiences with Lexus and Toyota in the same area. I don't see why it's so damn hard.

tell the service personnel to log onto there, and he can read all 38 pages of the thread as evidence! LOL

Keep fighting don't give up and for Pete's sake don't buy a Toyota. It was a tough road for me. My final result was my warranty extended from the normal 3/36 to 5/100k. I dealer shopped and got the tsb done and once again like the truck. Demand to speak to the field rep

Way to go Frank, that is a great result. We all need to fight these indifferent dealers by speaking up and voting with our feet by walking out and finding a better dealer. Many dealers have 5 star ratings but don't deserve it.

Will do.

Here's the latest video from yesterday. Same vibration from the tranny.

Default Buzz/Growl

This is where its coming from . . . in those lines...

FordTechMakuloco documented this already. its a Known issue, thus the TSB.... Go to his youtube channel and you'll see the same video basically.

Your dealer is jerking you around if they can't hear that.

Just picked up my truck from the dealer and they performed the service listed in the TSB. I hope it fixes the problem. Thanks for your help, guys!
