Update on TSB
First thanks to the guy who posted the video.

Took truck in 12/18/2014 got TSB done. In and out same day.

No sound this morning and also no sound while shifting gears. I could hear the moan when it was shifting and thought it could be turbos but know now it wasn't.

Default Update on Repair Work

It's been a couple of weeks since my dealer ordered the parts and made the repairs relevant to TSB 14-0134--so far no more groaning or vibrating!

Thanks to Brittany for putting me in contact with the regional service advisor--I'm not sure if he helped move things along, or if the service guys at my dealer were just on top of things, but the diagnosis part went fairly well & they were aware of the TSB.

Hopefully no more issues! Good luck to those still dealing with the noise!!

I'm glad to hear that the both of you are no longer experiencing this noise! If either of you have any questions moving forward, or would like your feedback documented, please reach out to me privately with the details, and I'll happily get started.

Have a great day!

Default Same issue but where is the tsb info?

I have had the same thing happen in my 2013. It has happened, maybe 3 good times where I tried to get my husband to hear it but can't get him outside fast enough. I can get it to go away when I take it out of park but can hear it slightly going through the gears, but than it stops and is fine.

Very good relationship at my dealer for parts and buying new trucks, but this will be the first time at having something fixed. I have some information printed out from here but I am not finding that tsb anywhere other than here. We have the mitchell program and it's not in there to print out or confirm.

My husband works on cars and we have our own business...so we need to have this fixed. It's not going to be fun to have to worry with our own vehicles...that's why we trade them in and get new. He fixes everyone elses junk....he ain't working on mine. LOL

Any help with having the right information for the dealer would be greatly appreciated. My email is saphirerae24@aol.com

THANKS!!!!!!

Default Winter problems after TSB installed?

I had the TSB (separator plate) installed early last fall. This winter in extreme cold the first several shifts are head jerkingly nasty. Not just rough shifts but head snappingky rough. It did not behave this way last winter I suspect it's the changed pressure from the TSB.

This is only when the transmission temperature shows below -3 Celsius. Before you tell me to warm it up first...yea I've tried that. I've left it to warm up in neutral for 5+ minutes but the temp doesn't rise noticeably. It warm up quite quickly when driven slowly though. But that's when the first few shifts are nasty.

Will this be doing damage?
Has anyone else experienced this after the TSB?

We went to the dealer and they gave us something else that was the problem. Told us the trans will have to come out? Than said that it's on start up that it happens which is not the case.

Not quite sure now what to do. I don't want them saying it's this other problem. They did go off of the tsb's that I had written down from this forum, so I am worried they have them mixed up???

Does the trans need to come out? Not looking forward to that!

I'm here to help, Raeanne Knull! Please fill me in the current mileage on your truck; I'll research any additional options.

Default Awesome

Hey Brittany!

My truck has 11,464 miles on it. It doesn't do it all the time. But it's not what they say the symptoms should be for their tsb. They said they crossed the 2 that I saw in this forum and pulled up about another issue. Maybe I am wrong and it's the same but I didn't see the trans being removed on here so I was leery on what to do.

I take and bought all of my trucks at Apple Ford in York, pa.

Any help in handling this is so much appreciated!!!

Thank you!

Sure thing, Raeanne Knull! I'll get this sent up to your regional customer service manager for further assistance. Please send me a private message with your full name, VIN, and best daytime contact number. I'll get a case started.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Brittany
