2014 XLT and mine is doing the same thing. 1200 miles on it now. When I park in my driveway and shift to park it starts. I intended to go to dealership eventually, but it only seems to do it on the incline driveway. Maybe after the holidays I'll drop by and let them look at it.

Does this harm anything that we know of?? Should I take it in tomorrow or can it wait a bit?

Well I went to the dealer Tues 11-25-14 armed with my recording and one I found on YouTube as well as the TSB for the separator plate. Picked it up today Wed 11-26-14 and to my amazement there is no MOANING. Which reminds of an old joke

Default Vibration Fixed

I picked up my 2014 FX4 w/ecoboost from the dealer yesterday. They replaced the separator plate in the transmission. I drove it around quite a bit. No vibration/noise when shifting into park. No whining in 3rd and 4th gear. So far so good. BTW, my transmission date of manufacture is AUGUST 2013! The truck was built 11/2013. I bought it 10/14.

The dealer gave me a 2013 extended cab XLT w/regular V6 to drive. Mine has a regular cab w/ecoboost V6. What a difference the turbo makes! I definitely could not enjoy anything with less performance than my new truck!

I'm pretty sure the vibration/noise problem is fixed. I will let you know if I have any more problems with vibration/noise.

Thanks!

Picked my truck up Wednesday afternoon after it sat at the dealer for three days and had no work done to it. I was frustrated to say the least. I was told they have two transmission techs. One was out for the week and the other just never got to my truck. The SA was frustrated with the techs also. I'll bring it back on Saturday and try again. The good news is that both issues I took it in for will be repaired. Just don't know when!

I strongly suggest using this to locate a dealer and schedule an appointment as soon as possible. Additionally, please send me a private message with your full name, VIN, servicing dealer, and best daytime contact number. I'll get this escalated to the regional customer service manager for your area.

I'm glad to hear that the dealer took care of this and that the sound is gone, VMARAUDER! I got your PM and will respond as soon as I can.

At least im not alone, ive bin to the dealer 2 time with no success in recreating the squawking noise. this morning it had a very delayed shift from 2nd to 3rd, 3 weeks ago it didn't want to shift out of 1st gear until I stopped and went again. its very frustrating when you have to reproduce the noise to get it fixed.

Day 5 at Bartow Ford and still no completed repairs. I'm beyond frustrated. I don't know why I continue to bring my vehicles there. I'm never satisfied with their service.

Update: Picked up my truck today after 6 days at the dealer. TSB 14-0134 performed. Noise and vibration are gone. Truck shifts much better. Pleased with the results, but not how long the truck sat there.

This is a very informative post. I just picked up my 2014 Supercrew ecoboost one week ago and now at 300 miles I'm experiencing the exact same issue described here. Only 350 miles on the truck.

I've noticed it from day one, but only briefly. Today when I pulled into the garage and shifted into park is was very loud. It went on for anywhere from 30 seconds to one minute. I was able to open the hood but I was not able to pinpoint it.

It is interesting also that my driveway is at a substantial incline, but the pad I park on is level. Still, it started when I sifted into park.

Not feeling too good at the moment about my purchase. I called the service person I was introduced to and he told me it was the electronic throttle that was repositioning itself. That just does not sound logical for a noise this loud. I guess I'll see if I can't be first in line tomorrow for service. Not what I was hoping for to say the least.

Thanks for the information.
