Putting on new FX4 decals, need some tips!!!
I plan to remove the stock FX4 decals tomorrow and put on my FX4 firefighter decals (they're very cool looking and unique, I will post pics).
I am going to remove the stock decals with a hair blower and then use Goof-Off to remove any residue. Is the accepted method of most members?
Then, I will put on the new decals. How do you guys ensure the decals are straight and even?
Thanks for the input!

I have used the hair blower and goo-off before and it does work, just be carefull to not get the paint too hot from the blower otherwise you may damage/blemish the paint (this happened on my old jeep..oops lol)
you could use blue tape to mark the locations of the old decals that way you have a placement for the new ones.

If your stickers are anything like mine, they'll come off very easily.
I removed both the FX4 stickers and the giant "Appearance Package" hockey stripe with a little help from a hair dryer...but mostly just peeled up a corner with a fingernail and started pulling.
If you heat the sticker up too much with the hair dryer.....it gets very soft and tends to come off in pieces.
If it's warm where you live...leaving the truck in the sun for a few hours also helps soften things up.
My stickers left no adhesive residue on the truck.
Oh...and DO NOT use a "Heat Gun" instead of a hair dryer.....even on the lowest setting it's too much heat...and the chance of damaging the paint is very high and can happen before you know it.

Just took the FX stickers off my 2012, used nothing, once I got a corner lifted and I was able to pull them off with almost no effort. A very slight dirt line around the sticker cleaned off with a damp cloth. You could use alcohol (not the good stuff if needed, mine left no glue residue at all.

I would put painters tape along the outside edge of the current FX decals, then remove them.
Clean the area and then simply apply the new ones along the edge of the painters tape.
