2013 f150 noise!!!
There is a clicking noise that can be heard slightly in the cabin but also much louder underneath. It doesn't click with the engine RPM. It only gets louder with how fast the truck is traveling. It sounds like it is coming from transfer case. Any idea what it is? ( I own a F-150 STX 5.0L)

Check your tires for a rock stuck in between the treads.

Def not a rock. Its mechanical. I know the injectors are loud on the 5.0L but i compared it to a 2013 STX Silver color with 5.0L and it did not make the noise.

Hmm sounds like it's time for a warranty trip to the dealer, that or let it go until it gets worse and grenades on you @ 70mph in the middle of no where.

Hey dnet101, my 2013 does the same thing. I was curious about this myself. Mine has done it since I drove it off the lot, maybe it's normal? Let me know what you find out and I'll do the same.

I'd like to lend a hand. Could you PM me your name, phone number, VIN, mileage, and dealer info?

Glad to see I am not alone as I have the same tick on my 2013 FX4 with 4000 miles. It definitely sounds driveline related and is only audible between 1-30 mph. After that I can't hear it or the road noise drowns it out. I do a lot of stop and go driving during rush hour and beside the concrete median barrier the tick is really amplified. I have been dreading taking it to the dealer as it seems to be be the perfect setup for "we couldn't replicate/hear it" back and forth routine. Very interested in seeing if anyone gets this noise narrowed down.
