2012 F150's with Sony Naviation, Radio, Why
I had a 2012 FX4 tuxedo Black with Sony Navigation.
Why did Ford drop this option?
My Sirius radio could hold something like 2,400 , Sons from C.D.'s
Simply play a C.D. & the Radio would store it and you never had to use it again. You could delete a song if you wish, make a play list. Listen to sons random, by artist, by title etc.
Those were cool radios.

That's a cool feature for sure but I'm guessing people didn't use it that much. I don't think I've had a CD in my vehicle in over 10 years. In fact I'm not sure I even own any CDs anymore. I've been using mp3s forever and keep all my music on a flash drive. CDs do have good quality though.

Regarding sound quality, Sony systems don't have the best reputation.

Why did Ford stop doing that? For the same reason they got rid of cassette players.
Annual CD sales are plummeting, couple of years they'll go the way of cassettes.
