Computer Update
My 2012 F150 came with P275/55R20 Perelli Scorpian tires. I have found these tires to be useless on snow and ice. I would like to change to BF Goodrich all Terrain KO ties, but they do not have my size. I would have to go to a LT275/65R20.
Can my truck's computer be upgraded for this change?

The resulting change in effective circumference would be less than 10% off so should not pose too much of an issue. You would have to get a tuner ($300-500) to exactly adjust for the tire size, but in the mean while your speedo will just be a bit low and your odometer would clock a little less mileage.

Thanks for your reply. After more research, I'm thinking about going to LT285/55R20 BFG KO tires. They are a little wider, but only about 0.434" larger in diameter so my speedo error would be minimal.
