2011 f150 v6 throttle actuator control codes
Help! Just fired up my truck this afternoon and it began idling rough and went into limp mode. Check engine light on and ran codes. Stating cylinder 6 misfire with p2111 and p2112 (throttle actuator control system stuck open and throttle actuator control system stuck closed). Need help on where to proceed. Any advice appreciated

My 2012 EB did similar, went in to limp mode while I was driving a couple of weeks ago. I do not have a code reader. Not sure what the code was.
Dealer said the throttle body shorted out.
Had to replace at a cost of $500+.

I have a 2013 fx4 ecoboost. Dealer told me the same thing. I did some checking around and the throttle bodies are on national back order. So I took mine apart and and cleaned the valve good and ran a tank of premium with marvel mystery oil thru it. The code cleared and haven't had the issue since.

Larrypon10 I cleaned mine got another 3500 miles out of it. I finally had to replace it. I bought an aftermarket. Since ford is on back order. Make sure if you do it yourself you run a relearn procedure. Plenty of good videos on YouTube for the replacement procedure and relearn.
